Sensbot Research

Sensbot Research is the crawler behind our market research. It visits public storefront pages of online shops in Europe to work out which shop platform, chat widget and support tools a shop runs. We use that picture to decide which integrations to build next and which shops are worth writing to. Nothing else is collected: no personal data beyond the contact details a shop publishes on its own site, and none of the page content is reused.

How it behaves

• Public pages only, the ones any visitor can open.
• A small number of pages per shop, at a low rate.
• It never logs in, never submits a form and never places an order.
• It identifies itself with From: research@sensbot.ai on every request. Where a user agent is set it reads Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; SensbotResearch/1.0; +https://sensbot.ai/research).

Questions, or want your domain left out

Write to research@sensbot.ai with the domain. We take it out of the queue and delete what we hold about it. We answer that address.
