Draft, do not send
AI that drafts replies in your inbox. You press send.
Sensbot reads the email, retrieves the order and customer data, and leaves a finished draft in your Gmail or Outlook drafts folder. A person still decides what goes out.
Most AI support tools want the last word
The standard pitch is autonomy. The bot answers, resolves and closes, and you read about it afterwards. That is fine until it tells a customer something confident and wrong about their order, in your name, at two in the morning.
Sensbot starts from the other end. The reply is written for your operator, not for the customer. It lands in the drafts folder with the order status, the carrier, the return window and the previous contact history already checked. Your operator reads it, changes a line if it needs one, and sends.
Autonomy is something a case type earns. From the Growth plan you can turn on autosend rules for specific case types once you have watched enough drafts to trust them, while everything else keeps waiting for a human.

Where it runs
In the inbox you already use
- 1 Gmail Install from the Google Workspace Marketplace. The Sensbot panel appears in the Gmail sidebar with the order context and the draft reply in one scroll. Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, no download.
- 2 Outlook One add-in covers classic Outlook, the new Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web, including Microsoft 365 and any IMAP inbox connected to Outlook.
- 3 Or no add-in at all The drafts folder is the fallback and it needs nothing installed on the operator machine. Sensbot saves the generated draft straight into Gmail or Outlook drafts. Open it, check it, send it.
No new helpdesk, no migration, no retraining the team on a different interface.
A question we get a lot
What about Shopify Inbox?
Shopify Inbox is free, first-party and chat-focused, and it is good at that job. If you want a chat widget on a Shopify storefront and nothing else, it is a reasonable place to start.
What it does not do is draft email replies on the operator side, for a person to review and send. That is a different job, and for most growing stores it is the one that eats the day: the mailbox, not the chat widget.
Sensbot's Email Assistant does that job in the mailbox you already have. The two are not mutually exclusive, and plenty of stores run a chat widget and an assisted inbox at the same time.
Common questions
Does Sensbot ever send an email by itself?
Not by default. Every reply is written into your drafts folder and waits there. From the Growth plan you can add autosend rules for specific case types, and on Scale there is no limit on those rules. Turning them on is a decision you make after watching the drafts.
Do I need a new helpdesk?
No. It works in Gmail and Outlook, including Microsoft 365 and IMAP inboxes connected to Outlook. If you already run a helpdesk, the assistant can work alongside it rather than replacing it.
How does it know the order details?
It connects to your store. Before writing anything it retrieves the order, the shipping status, the return eligibility and the customer previous contacts, then drafts from that. Email Assistant is available on IdoSell, Shopify and Shoper.
What happens with a case it should not answer?
It says so. Cases that need a human decision are flagged for manual handling rather than dressed up as a confident answer, and the draft is checked before it is saved.
