Why stores look for a Chatbase alternative
Two reasons come up. The first is the meter: message credits mean the bill moves with the month, and extra credits cost $40 per 1,000 on top of a $32 base. The second is branding, listed as a $1,188 per year white-label add-on, which is $99 a month for something most stores consider table stakes.
The third reason is quieter and matters more. A general purpose agent builder answers from the content you feed it. A store ticket is usually about one order, one return or one size that may or may not be in stock, and none of those live in a document you can upload.
Where Chatbase is genuinely the better buy: if the agent is going on a documentation site, a SaaS product or a marketing site, there is no order to read and its self-serve, build-it-yourself model is the right shape. It also starts cheaper than we do.
Competitor pricing and plan facts below come from a pricing and positioning scan we ran in August 2026, quoted in the currency each vendor publishes. Sensbot figures come from our own pricing page. Every cost calculation shows its arithmetic and rounds in the other vendor favour. Rows we could not confirm from a primary source say so instead of guessing, and nothing here is a claim about how well the other product works.
What Sensbot does differently
- The Email Assistant leads. It drafts the reply inside your own mailbox with order context attached, and your operator presses send.
- Answers come from live store records: orders, shipments, products, customers and returns pulled from IdoSell, Shoper, Shopify or Upgates as the question arrives.
- One flat number per month. €49 for 100 chats, €129 for 500 with custom branding included, €299 for 2,500. No credit packs, no seat fees, no white-label licence.
- One vendor for the rest of it too: Chatbot, Email Assistant, FAQ Generator and Store Copilot on IdoSell. Each has its own plan, bundle pricing is on the roadmap, and we will build a combined plan on request.
- You would rather we ran it. Done-for-you starts at €390 per month: we set it up, tune it and keep it running across your stores and languages, with helpdesk, CRM and internal system integrations, full API access, priority support and SLA, and a named contact with a monthly review.

Common questions
Is Chatbase cheaper than Sensbot?
At the sticker price, yes: $32 per month against €49. Add $40 per extra 1,000 credits and $1,188 a year of white-label removal, which is $99 a month, and the comparison turns. Sensbot Growth is €129 flat for 500 chats with custom branding included.
Can I import what I built in Chatbase?
There is no import path between the two products. In practice most of what a store agent needs is not manual anyway: the Chatbot preconfigures itself from your catalogue on install, and knowledge base files can be uploaded directly.
Does Sensbot only do chat?
No, and chat is not the part we lead with. The Email Assistant drafts replies inside your mailbox for an operator to approve and send, which is where most ecommerce support volume actually lives. The FAQ Generator and Store Copilot sit alongside both.
