Why stores look for a Molin AI alternative

The most common reason is simply platform coverage. Molin publishes official plugins for Shopify, Shoper, ShopRenter and Unas, with WooCommerce listed as coming soon. If your shop runs on IdoSell, it is not on that list.

The second is what the plan does under pressure. Seats are $19 per month each on every paid tier, and below the Scale tier there is no overage, so at the conversation cap the chatbot switches off until you upgrade. A cap that stops answering during a sale week costs more than the upgrade would have.

Credit where it is due: at low volume they are cheaper than us. A free tier at 25 conversations, Startup at $19 per month billed annually for 125, and Growth at $55 for 500 all sit below our €129, and their setup service is inexpensive at $500 one-time plus a $200 monthly retainer.

Competitor pricing and plan facts below come from a pricing and positioning scan we ran in August 2026, quoted in the currency each vendor publishes. Sensbot figures come from our own pricing page. Every cost calculation shows its arithmetic and rounds in the other vendor favour. Rows we could not confirm from a primary source say so instead of guessing, and nothing here is a claim about how well the other product works.

What Sensbot does differently

IdoSell is a first-class platform here, alongside Shoper, Shopify and Upgates, with billing handled through your IdoSell admin and a 30-day trial.
The Email Assistant leads. It drafts replies inside your own mailbox using live order, shipment and return data, and your operator presses send.
No per-seat charges and no per-conversation fee. €49 for 100 chats, €129 for 500 with custom branding included, €299 for 2,500.
One vendor for the rest of it too: Chatbot, Email Assistant, FAQ Generator and Store Copilot on IdoSell. Each has its own plan, bundle pricing is on the roadmap, and we will build a combined plan on request.

You mainly want an assistant that helps sell rather than one that closes support tickets.

Common questions

Is Molin AI cheaper than Sensbot?

At low and moderate volume yes. At 2,500 conversations the comparison turns: Molin Scale is $119 billed annually plus $0.20 per conversation above 1,250, which is $369 a month before seats, against €299 flat here. Seats at $19 each per month move the crossover earlier for any team above one person.

Does Sensbot work with IdoSell?

Yes, and it is where most of our customers are. The Chatbot, Email Assistant, FAQ Generator and Store Copilot all install from the IdoSell app store, billing runs through your IdoSell admin, and the trial is 30 days.

Will my assistant stop answering if I go over?

Your plan includes a monthly volume and you move up a tier when you outgrow it. There is no per-conversation surcharge in between.
