Why stores look for a Molin AI alternative

The most common reason is simply platform coverage. Molin publishes official plugins for Shopify, Shoper, ShopRenter and Unas, with WooCommerce listed as coming soon. If your shop runs on IdoSell, it is not on that list.

The second is what the plan does under pressure. Seats are $19 per month each on every paid tier, and below the Scale tier there is no overage, so at the conversation cap the chatbot switches off until you upgrade. A cap that stops answering during a sale week costs more than the upgrade would have.

Volume and headcount decide it.
